What is the Riverbed RiOS Technology?

The Riverbed Optimization System (RiOS™) is the software platform that powers the award-winning line of Steelhead™ appliances. Using the power of Steelhead appliances running RiOS, organizations of all sizes around the world have been able to dramatically simplify, accelerate, and consolidate their IT infrastructure.

RiOS 6.5 is Riverbed's latest optimization system software release. Riverbed has new optimizations for Mac clients, Citrix, Oracle E-Business 11i & 12, SharePoint & other web apps, and central printing. Disaster recovery, visibility and simplicity, and the RSP are also greatly enhanced with many new features.
